Our primary objective is to enhance the Dachshund breed by breeding high-quality dogs. We firmly believe that when you invest in a dog for yourself or your family, you should be certain that your dog will have a long, healthy life, sharing in all your milestones and adventures. At 4L, we take great pride in our dogs and puppies. Every puppy undergoes daily handling and playtime. All of our dogs have their own private space and free access to a spacious dog run throughout the day. Every evening, they’re let out of their runs to socialize with us and each other.We initially started with a male, Gooseneck, who became the driving force behind our mission to breed Daschunds. Subsequently, we acquired Iggy-Mae to as our main female to bred with Gooseneck. Missy Cooper, is out of their first litter, and retained in order to expand our breeding program into doxie-poos.We had a plan to continue breeding Gooseneck and Iggy-Mae and use them as our foundation stock. However, with time, things have changed. We have now decided to switch over to registered dachshunds to offer more health and genetic testing, keep track of breeding history, and have a better idea of a family lineage. As we have made this swap, we have also bought a new female and male registered long-haired dachshunds and we can not wait to offer puppies from this cross in 2026!Gooseneck and Iggy-Mae will be retired at the end of this year, and we look forward to raising more Doxie-poos out of Missy Cooper.
